The Dionne Quintuplets

Snow In Sydney !

It seems an unlikely prospect. However it did happen in the icey winter of 1836. On the 27th of June people woke to the unlikely spectacle of snow covering Sydney streets. Such an event has never occured since although there is antedotal evidence of snow falling on obsevation deck of centrepoint tower (the tallest building in Sydney). In 1965 The central coast usually known for its sun and surf woke to a wintery white landscape. up to 6 inches of snow where reported in some places and people travelled from Sydney to witness this rare and wonderful event

Magnetic Island

I recently visited Magnetic Island. A tropical island 8km of the coast of Townsville in North Queensland. A nature lovers paradise; a beautiful rugged landscape featuring massive granite boulders and towering hoop pines. Two thirds of this unspoilt island is a nature reserve where koala's , echidna's , rock wallabies and many other native animals enjoy an untroubled existance. If your looking for a place to unwind and be sweep away by the perfection of natures creations. This is the palce for you !

Wuthering Heights

The fascinating Emily Bronte's literary masterpiece. A fascinating tale of betrayal and revenge which continues to resonate with readers. Emily was a recluse who rejected the mores of her age viewing them as hypocritical and repressive. This is the message of Wuthering Heights. Heathcliff, although ruthless and unforgiving is a product of societies injustices and Catherine meets an untimeley end because she puts her head before her heart.
